Sunday afternoon I went to the
Ilford Wargames Group annual show,
Rampage. As in previous years it was held in a school hall in Dagenham and as in previous years it was very hot inside. This is a small show with just ten traders and a dozen or so display games. There was also a well attended 2 day Tournament in another hall. First the pictures...
Nce Photos!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteSometimes the smaller shows are the best ones.
That WWI table is awesome, wow what a set up, looks like a fun day.
ReplyDeleteVery nice photos!!!
ReplyDeleteRule 6: Do not let the other half know how much this stuff costs. Good photos and you were very lucky to get such an attractive woman to marry you my friend....remember rule 6.
ReplyDeleteA 'small' show is better than none at all, believe me! I see you have taken a different approach to the issue of the missus, I took (the now) Mrs Adelaide Gamer to a show in the courting phase of the operation. Worked a treat!
ReplyDeleteHein - I like the smaller shows. they don't take up the whole day and they feel more intimate and friendly.
ReplyDeleteAngry Lurker - Yep, I definately lucked out with my woman... She's out of my league for sure. We have been a couple for over 25 years and I still wonder what the hell she's doing with a bum like me!
Adelaide Gamer - Mrs BigLee has always known about my hobby but has never felt the need to join in (fair enough). But yesterday it was nice to spend an hour wandering around on our own, without the kids for a change. All in all a very nice afternoon.
Some great looking games there. WW1 table looks really good.
ReplyDeleteWow, the last table looks the part.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff, I don't live to far from Dagenham, have to remember that.
ReplyDeleteThe intent people ignoring visitors has happened at all the few shows I have appeared at. Sort of like computer geeks but with something else to get technical about.
ReplyDeleteWhat jumps out here is the kids in the background.
Well done Long Time suffering Mrs BigLee, smiling or grimacing?
ReplyDeleteSmiling of course! Mind you, she might be Grimacing this weekend. W\e have the Delvers D&D 4e game night on Friday and then I'm out on Saturday with the Rejects playing the Franco-Prussian War. Lucky me!
ReplyDeleteHoly crap, that set piece is amazing. Fine work. Real fine work.
