Big Picture - Bunker Bash
This weekend was the Bunker Bash weekend at the 'Secret' Nuclear Bunker at Kelvedon Hatch. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it this weekend so here's a picture from last years event. This is a nice character picture of a reenactor wearing a US Rifleman's uniform.
Although I'm a little disappointed not to get to this event (its only 30 minutes from where I live) I have been consoling myself with some mammoth painting sessions instead! So this weekend hasn't been an entire loss!!

I've done NO painting this weekend, hope that makes you feel better

Me either - no paintig at all, just played a football match.
DeleteMmm looking at the site it seems interesting, but not explaining enough.. though the painting aspect is a great substitute for having missed out on an event you wanted to hit up!
ReplyDeleteMrs BigLee wasn't feeling very well so I decided it wouldn't be fair to bugger off for the day leaving her to fend for herself. Hopefully I've gained a few Brownie Points for the sacrifice!
ReplyDeleteI got a load of painting done (well a lot by my standards) and pretty much finished my Panzergrenadier HQ Platoon over the course of the weekend. I just have to varnish the models and then finish the bases and they will be done. Should have some pictures by the end of the week if not sooner.
