Salute 2018 first peek

I'm back from Salute 2018 and its been another amazing celebration of our wonderful and extraordinary hobby. I have taken a shed load of pictures as usual and hopefully tomorrow I will find time to start editing, labelling and sorting them for upload. In the meantime here's a couple of choice pictures to tease you with.

Two Tanks...a Replica of a WWI Mk IV and a sci-fi tank from a popular TV series!

The doors open and eager gamer's begin to flood in.

I had a good day!

Battlegroup Torch - The Battle of Medjez Valley,Tunisia 1943

Zombie Salute!!

Ian Smith & Friends present "Glory in the Halls of Montezuma"  -  Union forces attempt to take Charleston by land and sea during the ACW

Salute is the biggest show I attend and I have to say its gets physically harder every year. I hurt all over and feel like I've gone ten rounds with a very angry King Kong. I think its time 'BigLee' lost a few pounds and gave this old body a break...mind you I said that last year (and the year before). Despite the screaming feet and aching limbs my day isn't over as I have a 'surprise' party to go to tonight (wink, wink, Ray). I'm driving so I can't even dull the pain with alcohol... its a hard life, but somebody has to do it!

More photo's and a full show report tomorrow.
