I'm a big fan of the Discworld novels of Terry Pratchett. For me the best part of any Discworld story are the characters which literally leap off the page. Some time ago I saw some unpainted Discworld models and thought to myself "these will look great painted". I've just come across these pictures and all I can say is Coooool!
This is Cohen the Barbarian (also known Ghenghiz Cohen) the leader of the "Silver Hoard". 
The Luggage is another favorite of mine. For a wooden box it has a lot of character.
