Over the weekend the Rejects went to our first in-person game show in over a year and a year and a half. SELWG has moved to a new venue, and there were a few hiccups along the way, but we had a great day and bought a lot of gear.
We had a good day and all the Rejects said they enjoyed themselves. I did video them giving some feedback but the sound quality was so poor (too much background noise) I left these out in the end. Pity, because some of the responses were amusing!
A fine body of Rejects! |

Looks like a good day out. Let us know how you like the Men of Bronze and O group.
ReplyDeleteI may do a review if I can find the time to sit and read them. I have a week off work coming up and crossed fingers I'll have some free time.
DeleteI had intended to call in on my way south from Yorkshire to Hampshire but the traffic on the M1 was horrendous. I have to admit, SELWG was much handier for me when it was in South East London!!
ReplyDeleteIn theory it has better transport connections at its new location, but that's little comfort if you live in south London.
DeleteGood to see you again on Sunday. That's not much of a haul...well, compared to mine at least! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd you. Thanks for the wee figure, he'll look great with my other 'santas'. I had more on my shopping list but the stuff I wanted wasn't at the show. SALUTE, however, is a different matter. One way or another - pre orders or buying on the day - I'll need a wheelbarrow to leave that show!
DeleteGlad I made it to the final cut!
ReplyDeleteThe 'interviews' I did were just too noisy to use. I tried to use some software to remove the background noise but it didn't work. I live and learn. Next time I may have to take you guys aside to film you somewhere quieter (that sounds a bit dodgy, but you know what I mean).
DeleteThat Indo China game looks great. Was the O Group game in 10mm or 15mm ?
ReplyDelete15mm I think. It did look very nice.
