My Top 5 Wargaming Disasters

I've been wargaming for a long time, so I have quite a big back catalogue of wargame disasters. These are the sort of games where I made unforced errors leading to defeat or simply where the dice gods abandoned me (sometimes both!).

  1. Uncle Henry from "A Good Year" (great film) said it best - "You'll come to see that a man learns nothing from winning. The act of losing, however, can elicit great wisdom. Not least of which is, uh... how much more enjoyable it is to win. It's inevitable to lose now and again. The trick is not to make a habit of it." Hal still makes me chuckle although more with Fran's squirming than your dice rolling! Kudos for being a good sport and sharing these. You're not alone!

  2. Oh the Battle of Hal, one of my favourite games Postie ever put on. I'm so glad I wasn't on your side that day. To see your and Fran's faces first disappointment then sheer utter disbelief, oh how we laughed!!!
